The Ash K. Captures experience is what I believe everyone's client experience should look like when working with me. It's who I want to be as an artist and business owner. It comes from years of experimenting, fine tuning, and reflecting.
I've always had buildable packages where each weekend, I'm offering, approaching, and delivering something totally different. That's been because I deeply understand that every couple and every wedding is very different. However, it's started to not sit well with me that there is a noticeable difference in my portfolio between weddings where I offered all the works and weddings where I just show up by myself with a digital camera for a set amount of hours. Additionally, I have observed that despite the differences, a common ground across all wedding days is that set hours for photography coverage places an unnecessary time constraint on the day. Which directly impacts how it all flows and feels.
Photography should not limit the potential of your day, rather should cover the day as it happens. How my package is structured sets that tone. I also know that I can offer so much more, and frankly, at this point in my career, I need to be offering more to deliver on the client experience that I feel everyone deserves and on a personal note, to feel most fulfilled in my craft.

Complimentary engagement portraits, because I want to hang out before wedding day & get you comfortable in front of my lens.
Detailed questionnaire and consultation to discuss wedding logistics and your unique preferences.
Up to 2-hours of night-before coverage, incl. my attendance at your rehearsal, so I know exactly where I'll stand during your ceremony and to document the anticipation the night before with your loved ones. (This means I take only ONE wedding per weekend, aka no sharing my energy or turnaround timeline with anyone else).
Local travel up to 45-miles from my home included, reasonable travel fees + overnight accommodations required for weddings beyond this distance.
Comprehensive wedding day coverage, from morning memories through the last song of the night, because every moment matters.
Hybrid shooting all day long, because film enhances digital. 35mm, 120, + Polaroids.
Assistant photographer for 8-hours, because two perspectives are better than one.
2-month turnaround on your full gallery, with options for receiving previews.
No photo limit, 100 images per hour minimum.
Credit toward heirloom prints and/or a wedding album, because your photographs deserve to live beyond a screen.
Happy mail delivery, your print order + some surprises delivered to your door in a personalized box to cherish forevermore.
Lastly, a lifetime discounted portrait rate, as a thank-you and because I'd love to be invited back to document future moments/milestones.

Over the 7 years I've been photographing weddings, I believe this is the best I can offer to preserve the legacy of your wedding day and create a memorable experience for you that extends from the time of inquiring and beyond your wedding day. I deeply care about making your investment worthwhile, and equally invest back in to you through open and prompt communication, resourcefulness and reliability, quality work, my friendship, and of course, photographs you'll love.
This wedding photography experience is valued intentionally at $7,750, including sales tax.
I realized that with my previous offerings, most clients who booked my "base" (1 photographer, digital only) ended up adding on services that equalled or exceeded this amount because they wanted more from their coverage (second shooter, film, rehearsal coverage, & so on - it all adds up when itemized). At this price, your package will include everything I could possibly offer you. No guess work, no assuming what you may need months/years out. No need to tack on expenses later in your planning process. Just a full-service wedding photography experience you can feel confident in.
Getting married in 2027? Looking for a photographer specializing in film, true-to-color edits, with a documentary approach? Yay (!) because that's what I do best!! I would love the chance to connect with you and tell the story of your wedding day through photographs.
If this seems like a lot, maybe too much for what you think you may need, think about this: without a photographer present, how well documented will the day before be? The anticipation leading up to getting dressed and the final songs of the night? Coming from me (a photographer), I completely forgot my phone/cameras existed on my wedding weekend. It didn't even cross my mind to ask a friend to take some, we were all in the moment. I regretfully didn't have anyone document our rehearsal, so we only have a few iPhone memories and budget-wise, it wasn't possible for us to tack on a by-the-hour rate to cover our full wedding day. I don't want this for my clients. Once your day is reserved on my calendar, I really feel that I owe it to you to be present the whole day (and frankly, I never want to leave early anyway!).
I'd also hear that past clients regretted not adding more film, because they favored those few film images I snapped because of the distinct look compared to digital. This package allows me to shoot film to my hearts content - it's not your responsibility to know how many film rolls your day may need, it's mine to ensure I pack more than enough. The only added expenses would be travel considerations, if your venue is over 45-miles from my home. These are reasonable and would be calculated at booking. Or, if you want me as your lead photographer plus super8 videography coverage, we can make that happen!
While I believe this is the best approach for my business and my clients, I realize that cost is a major determining factor when selecting vendors for your wedding. This sounds like a good time to say that choosing a wedding photographer is really important. Connecting with their work, their personality, and their offerings. Reading their reviews, asking them the tough questions that are important to you, and feeling confident about your decision to choose them. We're the ones standing by your side at one of the biggest, most emotional times of your lives. Choose wisely! Quality photography is always worth it, especially with how much I will care for you/your memories (and that's a lot). My rate increase over the years = the value of the experience I offer and years under my belt.

I'm so very excited to debut this package and to connect with couples planning their 2027 wedding! My books will open December 1, 2025 for this wedding photography package. 2026 is fully booked for weekend weddings. I am still accepting 2026 weekday intimate wedding events and portraits.
Please note: for all other offerings - Intimate Event, Film-Only, and Super8 Motion Picture documentation - I hold on booking until 1-year to the month of the event (i.e., June 2026 for June 2027). Portrait session booking windows are always updated on this tab of my site.
